Hebrews 7:14-16

14 For it is clear that our Lord has sprung forth[a] from Judah—concerning this tribe, Moses said nothing about kohanim. 15 And it is even more evident, if another kohen arises like Melchizedek— 16 one made not by virtue of a Torah requirement of physical descent,[b] but by virtue of the power of an indestructible life.
